Our web team recently created a new page for Doctrine, the sermon series that explains our core beliefs as a church within the greater story of God.
Here are four reasons why this is important:
1) Mars Hill membership is now more accessible.
The Doctrine content is required for church membership, but prospective members can now select from multiple tracks, including full-length sermons, abridged sermons, and sermon summaries.
2) The Sermon Summaries are brand new.
Last month, Pastor Mark taught a condensed version of the Doctrine series at the Ballard campus’ “Become a Member Day.” This material is now available online for the first time.
3) “Doctrine” is another way to share the gospel.
The Doctrine series presents the key beliefs of Christian truth, which makes these sermons a great way to help friends and family learn more about what it means to follow Jesus. Each episode includes a simple “Invite a Friend” option, which makes it easy to share the content with anyone who has an email address.
4) Other churches have been asking…
We get lots requests from other churches that would like to use our membership curriculum to help build out their own membership process or something similar. With the Doctrine webpage, this content is now easily accessible in various formats that lend themselves to a diverse range of presentations.
