Let's Buy a Bus! – Generous #11
Vision Nationals (Visag, India) began Master's School in 1999 to provide a first-rate K–12 education for the orphans living in the ministry's companion program, Master's Home.
Master's School has done so well in the past decade that Vision Nationals was asked to open the school to the public. Well, they did, expecting an additional 50 kids to join the 120 students from Master's Home. On the first day of class, 270 showed up, pushing total enrollment to 390!
Vision Nationals hired more teachers, built more classrooms, and survived with a lone school bus, which drives all over the city to transport the children--making as many as three round trips to the same neighborhood.
Next year, enrollment is expected to increase yet again--much more than one bus can handle. Vision Nationals must place an order for an additional school bus by the end of this month (April) in order to get it in time for the new school year (June). So far, the ministry has raised $12,000 of the necessary $20,000.
Please help provide transportation for these kids!

The new bus will allow Master's School to continue enrolling public students. The education they receive is unabashedly Christian, but nearly all of them come from Muslim or Hindu families; their parents send them to Vision National's school because of its strong reputation for academic excellence. In other words, Master's School is an unparalleled opportunity for children to learn Scripture, hear the Gospel, meet Jesus, and introduce Christ to their families and neighborhoods. Also, public students pay a modest tuition fee, which helps pay for Vision Nationals' other ministries: serving widows, housing orphans, training pastors to plant churches, etc. Last Christmas, you helped purchase clothes for the orphans of Vision Nationals. Now we've got a week to help them get to school.
