Today's Seattle Times includes a photo/caption from last night's Golden Gardens baptisms. Forty people were baptized at the event, including eight who decided on the spot to take the plunge. If you missed out on the festivities, there are many more baptism events coming up this summer (updated):

• August 24 at Alki Beach
• August 29 at Myrtle Edwards Park (outdoor concert)
