The "Changed by Jesus" series features stories about how Jesus is working through the ministry of Mars Hill Church to change lives. If God has used Mars Hill to transform your life, email your story to testimony[at]marshillchurch.org. Yoo Yung Hee, Seoul, Korea "I started believing that God is my savior and my father during my freshmen year in college. I attended college in New York City as an overseas student from the Republic of Korea. Back home in Korea, I was an unfaithful Christian. I would skip services to hang out with friends and watch TV shows, or just about anything else. But, I always had a hollow feeling. I needed something to fill my emptiness. But, God kept an eye on me even though I left him to satisfy my selfish desires. He came to me. God led my father to inquire if I was attending church. God caught me and called me back to Him. I started attending a local Korean church in Manhattan every morning for their special two week long early morning service. I was there for two weeks, checking if God was right for me. I was as proud as Lucifer. But, God is good. Like a shepherd, He found his lost sheep. Shortly after the two-week service was finished, I dreamed of God's voice. The voice said, "I am your God, I love you my daughter." At first, I freaked out and said, "Oh, Lord! Amen! Amen! Please go away! You’re scaring me!". I was that sinful and that foolish. Soon I realized God's immeasurable love. Since the day, I believe in God without question or doubt. He came to me. He drove me to His freedom. Now I am excited to worship him. I am so thankful that God loves me. I hope to have courage to spread good news to others. Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God alone)!"
