By David, Manchester, UK "I started listening to Pastor Mark's sermons about two years ago on iTunes. I listened irregularly, and in some ways, that irregularity defined my entire Christian walk. I was irregular in my prayer life, my bible reading and in my lifestyle. My life was bland, apathetic and going nowhere. About a year ago, I began to earnestly seek God's will for my life. I wasn't enjoying my job and found myself seeking alternatives. During this same time, my first child was born. These two events began to reignite my prayer life. God made it clear to me that I was to stay in my job as a school teacher and to take the stale and fruitless Christian Union (mission teams for university and college campuses in the United Kingdom) on as my ministry. I began to listen to Pastor Mark's sermons again, and this time regularly. I can't get enough of them! I've been listening to about two each day. The clear, faithful and practical teaching has set my mind ablaze. The clear teaching has made me examine my life and heart in an entirely new way. Perhaps the most important thing that has emerged from the ministry of Mars Hill has been the continual affirmation of the work of Jesus and His importance. I feel fired up for Jesus in a way that I haven't for years - if ever! Why? Because through the provision of good bible teaching, Mars Hill has provided me with one of the most edifying resources that I have had the benefit of encountering. I now feel far more equipped to take on the issues in my life. Mars Hill has reinforced the importance of me getting my own house and life in order as a necessary prerequisite and part of being a fruitful laborer for Christ. Bless you all at Mars Hill.
