How to Get Involved with Community Group Micromissions

Micromissions are an opportunity for community groups to demonstrate God’s mission of love by actively serving their neighborhood and helping those in need. Community group projects are funded by Mars Hill MicroMission funds, which are available to all community groups interested in addressing a specific local need. In the past, community groups have:
  • provided outfits and holiday treats for a family facing a difficult season;
  • held a barbeque with crafts and games for low-income senior citizens;
  • facilitated a silent auction to raise money for arson victims;
  • delivered 35 boxes of groceries to celebrate Easter to an apartment complex housing low-income families; and
  • fed and prayed for the families of veterans receiving care in hospitals all over the country.
Those are only a few of the projects Mars Hill Church community groups have done in their neighborhoods. If you or others in your community group have an idea or project you would like to tackle, talk to your community group leader and see if this is something your group would be interested in pursuing.
