I just wanted to drop a quick line: God bless Mars Hill Church, Mark Driscoll, and the amazing web team that keeps the resources online. Friends of mine had been going to Mars Hill since 2000, and I kept hearing that the church was great, and had really solid teaching, particularly for the men. Since 2005, I have been regularly downloading Mars Hill sermons. More recently my wife and I have been having date nights watching the Luke’s Gospel vodcasts as well. The in-depth teaching is incredible! The teaching on Marriage and Men (and women, too) earlier this year has been a massive blessing to me, now a husband and father of two baby boys. I have listened to the Marriage and Men message five times this year. It has been a hard word in a very hard season of life for me and my family, but it is one I desperately needed to hear. I am passing it on to friends where I can, and I keep it permanently on my iPod to kick my butt every now and again! Mark's teaching of Christ has brought me to re-evaluate much of my life, even though I've been a Christian 19 years now. Where so many churches have compromised and put Jesus somewhere amongst the rest of modern theology, I love that Mark is so passionate about Christ above all else. Anyway, thanks heaps!
