We talked about biblical community this week on the blog. Some highlights:
In a round-up of the campus blogs:
- Deacon Adam was petrified the first time he visited a Community Group. Now he oversees them at the Ballard campus. (Also, at Ballard, Pastor Bill hit the Do Not Disturb button.)
- The U-district gave us two of the most quintessentially Seattle stories about church and evangelism in this city this week. (Hint: They involve rain and coffee.)
- Pastor Tim at the Downtown campus wrote about the three legs that comprise Mission.
- The Bellevue community is gaining family members and a home. And, know who's serving the Bellevue community this weekend? The youth.
- From the Federay Way campus, Pastor Samuel cribbed the Pastor Dad book on this Father's Day.
- In our own community, Pastor James wrote about how, while the physical Lake City campus will phase out, it has left a legacy: "If the goal was self-preservation, we failed; if it was following God’s call no matter the cost, this three-year outpost was a production engine for community, redemption, and leadership that is now going out en masse to further bolster our mission to the Emerald City and surrounding neighborhoods."
