A new Mars Hill year begins July 1. That’s when we close the book on Fiscal Year 2010 and set our sights on 2011. It’s been an eventful year to cap an eventful decade. Since 2000, Mars Hill Church has grown:
- From 750 to 9,000 per week in attendance (with a high of 13,000 for Easter 2010)
- From a few dozen baptisms per year to nearly a thousand
- From two church plants to 314 (Acts 29)
- From 3 community groups to over 400
In addition, throughout the first four months of 2010 we were honored to give away $1.3 million to church planting,
Haiti relief efforts,
resources for the military, and more—not to mention all of the sermons, songs, transcripts, blogs, and content that we’re happy to distribute absolutely free for the good of the gospel.
If you’re reading this post, most likely you’ve enjoyed many of these resources. Consider participating in our mission to share Jesus with the world by giving to our Global Fund online now.
The Global Fund helps make our broader ministry possible by paying for things like Spanish transcripts, closed captioning, new campuses, and the Good Friday and Easter services, which reached an online audience of almost 20,000.
All of this is by God’s grace, and by his grace and with your help we hope to keep it up for many years to come and see many more meet Jesus.
