The Night Acid-Wash Jeans Were Worn Without Apology

This recap over at the Ballard campus' blog of last week's benefit concert for Amy Furlan almost makes us nostalgic for a particular bygone decade:
Wearing purple stretch pants that would make the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air proud, donning a jean jacket, and hoisting a boombox onto his shoulder, Daniel Wolf was excited for the upcoming concert. "I’m ready to have the most tubular, awesome, best night of rocking out to the '80s," exclaimed Daniel. As the crowd flooded into the lobby of the Ballard campus, the atmosphere was definitely setback about 25 years. The iconic mullet hairdo was readily spotted. Acid wash jeans and jackets were also worn without apology. "Turn the collars of your shirts up and peg your pants," said Dan Guthrie.
And remember to please continue to keep up the support, and keep the Furlans in your prayers.
