Mars Hillians in the News: Downtown couple's story on King 5
Local TV station King 5 did a short feature on the remarkable story of Mars Hill downtown attenders Kyle and Brittany Davis, a recovering alcoholic and meth user, respectively. Watch the video below to hear a little about these two amazing stories of God’s redemption. Both Kyle and Brittany are staying at Union Gospel Mission shelters. Kyle started coming to a MH Downtown Community Group held at the UGM a couple years ago, a group Brittany eventually joined. Eventually, they both met Jesus through the Downtown campus, got baptized there, and were recently married by DT Campus Pastor Tim Gaydos. The two will remain another six months at the shelter while they finish their recovery programs before moving in together as husband and wife. We praise God for his redeeming work in our lives. About 30-40 people from the UGM men's and women's shelters each week attend the Downtown campus. Several MH Community Groups have also partnered with UGM groups for MicroMissions service projects.
