This month everyone at Mars Hill Church gets free Money, a new book from Pastor Jamie Munson written for our Community Groups as a supplement to our study of Luke 12. Pastor Jamie wrote on The Resurgence:

I like to think of the book as Doctrine-meets-Dave Ramsey, and tailored with a wide range of people in mind: churches, small groups, couples, and individuals, both rich and poor. . . . New Testament scholar Craig Blomberg calls stewardship of material possessions "the most important test-case of one’s profession of discipleship." When it comes to our money, the stakes are high, and my hope is that God would use the book to increase joy in Jesus, faithfulness in giving, freedom from financial sin, and whole-hearted worship throughout Mars Hill Church and many other churches.
