Downtown Seattle Campus Pastor Tim Gaydos has been elected to serve as president of the Belltown Business Association. He's served for three years on the board, and last year was its vice president. From David Nelson on the Seattle-PI's Inside Belltown blog:

I recently met with Gaydos at a Belltown coffee shop to discuss Belltown, the Seahawks, and his new position with BBA. As we sat there talking, we were interrupted countless times by other coffee patrons wanting to say hi to him. He is a respected man in our community and has people who believe in him already. Admittedly, I'm not a member of his church, but I walked away impressed. He is passionate about the community and is taking his new role very serious.
