Last night we as a church commemorated
Good Friday. We felt the weight of what we did to God and witnessed the cost of grace. But now we look forward to tomorrow's
Easter celebration. That's right, just twenty-four hours to go.
It's a lot to take in over the course of one weekend, and there's no way any of it could have happened without the incredible faithfulness of the Mars Hill body—from covering the cost in advance, to answering late-night phone calls asking for more volunteer help the next day at Qwest Field, to inundating local
homeless shelters with small mountains of essential supplies, and on and on.
Thank you Mars Hill for your love for Jesus, his church, and our mission.
I am honored to be one of your pastors, and I very much look forward to rejoicing with you tomorrow as we sing, baptize, and party to the glory of Jesus, our good and true God.
Please take a moment today to continue to pray for Easter; what transpires
could be historic. It's all about Jesus, Mars Hill, and this weekend we get to show him off in an incredible way.
Rain or shine, I'm excited to see what he does tomorrow.
