How to Pray for Your Community Group Leader

A Community Group is like a small church family: praying, confessing, serving, sharing the gospel, studying, and hanging out together. A Community Group leader is a volunteer responsible for shepherding this little flock. They are on the front lines of ministry, and we cannot thank them enough. Pray that God would give them spiritual maturity, a great love for the people in their group, and a burden for the other people around them who need Jesus.

How to Pray for Your Deacons

Mars Hill deacons work hard behind the scenes to organize events, manage budgets, coordinate schedules, and implement the countless details that keep us rolling. As you pray for them, thank God for their humble service, and pray that they would experience great satisfaction and encouragement in relationship with Jesus.

How To Pray For Your Pastors

Since January we’ve installed 13 new elders of Mars Hill Church. These men now face increased pressure and spiritual warfare on their families, their jobs, and their relationship with Jesus. For our new and existing pastors, please pray for their protection, for wisdom, and that the Holy Spirit would make them effective in their role. In addition, you can pray for safe travels this summer (especially the Turkey contingent), for all of the baptism events taking place around the city in the next few weeks, and that God would call many more leaders to humbly serve the church and lead the mission.
