Churches

Biblical Living Pastor | Downtown Seattle

We are looking for someone with a dynamic and passionate personality that has the ability to engage and lead both children and parents to become strong biblical families. You must be on mission looking to leave an impact on the city of Seattle, particularly the families and children who will be inhabiting it for generations and who will, in turn, reach the rest of the region and the world. This person will also posses strong strategy and planning skills that can develop effective programs for parents and kids alike that fit in an urban core, and serve as an inspiration to other city ministries. This role will encompass the areas of Pre-Marriage, Parenting, Kids and Youth, and Biblical Families.

Worship Director | U-District

The Worship Director role will include day-to-day operations of Mars Hill U-Distrcit, including service preparation, song selection and arrangement, band leading and building. The position will be responsible for all the music and bands and have ownership of all music during worship services. The person will also be involved in band development, musical arrangements, mentorship and discipleship of musicians in the bands and shepherding other bandleaders and musicians. The Worship Director will be responsible for leading each service until bands are developed that are both musically and spiritually ready and can lead the congregation in excellence. The director would be expected to lead on average 2-3 times per month, regardless of band development. Other responsibilities would include scheduling bands and musicians for services and all Mars Hill U-District events, overseeing service productions and teams (i.e. audio, lights, service flow, etc.), working with pastors and staff to communicate and carry out overall vision of the corporate worship at Mars Hill U-District.

Executive Pastor | U-District

The Executive Pastor will oversee and lead the church in operational efficiency and excellence to accomplish our mission in the U-District. This position will play a key role in team leadership development and discipleship equipping and employing Biblically led leaders to accomplish ministry objectives. The Executive Pastor will also create and implement new operational strategies to resource and mobilize disciple makers and church planters, e.g. The Legacy Project, communications, Sunday operations, business/finance, events, etc.

Executive Pastor | Olympia

The Executive Pastor will oversee and manage campus operational efficiency and excellence to achieve ministry goals and mission in the South Puget Sound region. This position will play a key role in team leadership development and discipleship to develop, equip, and deploy biblically led leaders to accomplish ministry objectives. The Executive Pastor will also fulfill the character qualifications and general elder duties as required at Mars Hill Olympia.

Central

PR/Marketing Relations Director| Media & Communications

This position will work directly with senior leadership and collaborate with many departments, branches, and campuses throughout the church. This role will also be responsible for leading and developing a content strategy for our communication platforms and increasing widespread participation and awareness of the overall vision.

Web Developer | Media & Communications

In this role, you will be involved in building new Ruby on Rails/PHP projects and features, as well as maintaining existing code bases by completing bug fixes and feature requests. You will assist in architecting Mars Hill web software and applications. You will work well with other members of the team, including our creative team, to coordinate idea collaboration, project deliverables, and development requirements.

Events Manager | Resurgence – Acts 29 – Mars Hill

We are looking for someone who has experience managing events and has been successful. This candidate must love Jesus and be motivated to see leaders trained so that churches can be planted and disciples made. You will be traveling often. Additionally you must be willing to live in the Seattle area. If this job sounds like something you would love to do every day, we definitely want to hear from you.

Executive Assistant to Community Groups Director | Network Department

The Executive Assistant will support Pastor Brad House in the Network Department of Mars Hill Church. Pastor Brad is responsible for supporting, evaluating, and developing community at all campuses within Mars Hill Church. The ideal candidate for this position must be well organized, able to learn, and anticipate needs within a fast-paced, high degree of change and deadline-oriented environment. Adaptability is extremely important, as the executive Assistant will be working on multiple projects simultaneously. Also important is a dedication to community groups and a passion for helping other churches develop community.

Real Estate Analyst | Development Group

This is an associate-level position, working as part of the Development Group to assist the Real Estate Director with executive and project work, as well as providing administrative support to the team as a whole. Broadly this will include: drafting and coordinating request for proposals, organizing and databasing leasing and purchase contracts and renewals, administrating our growing portfolio of projects and proposals, managing our media and web content initiatives, scheduling and communicating needs related to the team, and providing hospitality and note-taking support for meetings.

Property Supervisor | Development Group

This position will be responsible to ensure functionality of all Mars Hill properties and provide a "best in class" property support function to the various locations. The person will effectively lead and coordinate teams for property and development related projects. This position will provide oversight for ongoing facility maintenance as well as building and developing a central asset management plan for Mars Hill property assets.

Full Charge Bookkeeper | Finance Department

This position will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for carrying out bookkeeping and related administrative duties of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience, which includes managing multiple diverse tasks simultaneously. The person has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and effective and professional communication skills.

Technology Manager | IT Department

While seen as world class in preaching and award winning design, Mars Hill Church seeks to also utilize technology in creative and inventive ways that will serve to facilitate the expansion of Mars Hill to 50,000 worshipers of Jesus in the coming years as well as provide resources for other churches and organizations for the advancement of the gospel. By God’s grace, this work is taking place at a rapid rate, and our technological capabilities must keep pace.

Construction Manager | Development Group

In this role, you will work as part of a team managing dozens of strategic projects concurrently. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of the construction scope of all projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard of quality. This will be accomplished through the effective bidding, selecting, and oversight of general contractors, while coordinating closely with the Development Director, Real Estate, Design, and Production Technology leaders of the Development Group, as well as other key stakeholders.
