Air Conditioning for the Glory of God

Mars Hill Shoreline needs an air conditioner.

A year ago Mars Hill Shoreline moved into a new home. But like most “new” homes, it was new to us but not newly built. In fact, it was built about a half century ago.

We love and thank God for our new home, but this old building needs some work. And of first importance is an air conditioner.

Spring is upon us, and as temperatures rise, things will get very uncomfortable in our auditorium with no AC. It’s the kind of thing you don’t notice—until you do. In fact, if you are visiting for Sunday services, you might be so uncomfortable that you don’t even come back.

Our new facility has been a great blessing. God has been using it to draw many people to Jesus. Mars Hill Shoreline is all about Jesus, and we want to continue to reach as many people as we can for Jesus. It would be a shame to let a hot, stuffy room get in the way.

We need to raise $136,000 in the next 30 days to cover the cost of the new air conditioning system and get it installed before the summer weather hits.

We would greatly appreciate your generous donation. You can give online by visiting marshill.com/give and selecting the “Shoreline – HVAC improvements” fund.

Thank you!

Steve Tompkins is the lead pastor at Mars Hill Shoreline.

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.
