About Malibu Club
The Malibu Club was originally planned in the late 1930s as a luxury resort for the rich and famous and over the years has welcomed big-name stars such as John Wayne, Senator John F. Kennedy, Bing Crosby, and Bob Hope.
Today, Malibu Club is owned and run by Young Life. The club is located 100 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia, situated at the mouth of the world-renowned Princess Louisa Inlet. Surrounded by mountains soaring straight out of the water to heights of more than 8,000 feet, Malibu is a place of extraordinary beauty and isolation—a grand display of God’s creative work.

From Grady, 16:
Camp last year was an amazing experience for me. I truly was a different person when I left afterwards, but I changed for better. I was baptized and raised Catholic, and knew the gist of Jesus and what happened to him. I prayed every once and a while and went to church with my mom, but I was not at all what I believe to be a true follower of Christ at all.
I started going to Mars Hill youth group last summer and began reading the Bible and studying Scripture. I signed up for summer camp and am so glad I did. One night, Brian McCormick went up to preach, and that’s when everything changed. He said that Jesus died for you. You. That changed my life forever… that when Jesus was up on that cross, he was thinking of me and died for my sins and my mistakes. Just take that into consideration for a moment… Jesus died for you.
Since camp last year, I am now proud to tell people that I am a Christian and I can explain to them why I am, and can give them proof that Jesus can come into anyone’s life and change them.
From Ross, 17:
Mars Hill Students Summer Retreat helped me see Christ in an entirely different light. I got to know other Christians my own age, listen to sermons geared specifically toward junior and senior high students, and discussed them in a safe environment with people who I could relate to. It made an incredibly strong impact on my relationship with God.
There was one sermon in particular about how Jesus died not only for us all as a whole, but with you individually in mind, that really impacted everyone in our small group. None of us had thought of God as a loving friend and Father who gave up everything for us. After going to camp, I no longer go through the motions of what I thought a good Christian should do. They taught me to live out my faith through every aspect of my life. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity and am so thankful for the effect it had on my relationship with Jesus.
