Today’s devotion will be a little different. I just want you to meditate on these Scriptures and explore Jesus through a few of the names God reveals through his Word:
“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1
“‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’” Revelation 1:8
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.’” Matthew 28:18
“And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.’” Revelation 3:14
“Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession . . .” Hebrews 3:1
“But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.” Acts 3:14–15
How do these verses affect and intersect with your life today?
