In the next year, Mars Hill will be planting churches in places that are literally a world a part.
One of the cities on our radar is Kirkland, Washington, east of Seattle and north of Bellevue. At the same time, our Global Fund is supporting multiple church planters in Ethiopia in eastern Africa who will be trained and sent out over the next few months.

It’s interesting to compare the two locations:

On paper, the context for these churches couldn’t be more different. But they have one very important thing in common: people in Kirkland need Jesus just as much as people in Ethiopia.

Jesus died for all kinds of people because he loves all kinds of people. Many of them have yet to hear this good news, however, so we want to spread the Word both near and far, and care for people wherever we can.
Please pray for the pastors and the people in both Ethiopia and Kirkland.
