From a former nightclub to a concert hall. That's where Mars Hill Downtown Seattle is moving from and to this fall. After four years meeting in the Belltown neighborhood where they were using old dancer cages as coat racks, the church will move a mile south into the Daniels Recital Hall, a stunning, century-old architectural gem in the heart of the downtown area. The church, built in the early 20th century by Seattle's original church congregation, was dedicated in 1908. Here's a brief photographic tour of the new building.

The church's dome soars 66 feet above the main sanctuary.

The Downtown Seattle church will complete the move to the Daniels Hall this fall. In the meantime, join them at any one of their five weekend services at the Belltown location.
