Pastor Arjuna Chiguluri, the founder of Vision Nationals, thanks Mars Hill Global for your support and prayer. Vision Nationals has planted hundreds of churches through pastors in India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia. Most churches have a few dozen people in their congregation, and some are over 100 strong. Though they're hardly stopping there: "The desire of Vision Nationals is [to] plant thousands of churches . . . and make disciples," says Pastor Arjuna.
Mars Hill Church first began supporting Vision Nationals in the early days of the ministry in 1997. Today, we support all of the churches in the Khammam and Guntur districts, about 25 in total, in the state of Andhra Pradesh on the southeastern coast. That state has the second-lowest literacy rate in India, with a rate of just under 67% of adults. Some of these pastors could not read when they were saved, but have since learned how to in order to teach from the Bible. One pastor even miraculously learned to read immediately after accepting Christ. Another pastor who is blind has planted four churches, and another pastor, John, has planted 14 churches.
Support church planters in India, Ethiopia, and other countries throughout the world by giving to Mars Hill Global.
