Mars Hill Everett is excited to be meeting in the Washington National Guard Armory for the very first time as a family. This meeting is a huge celebration of what God has done in our first year as a church. We launched on September 18, 2011 and we have seen God do amazing things in the city and our region in less than 12 months. It is truly God’s work, and we are grateful that we get to play a role in what Jesus is doing in Everett.

Over the last six weeks, we have been fasting and praying that we might continue to see people meet Jesus here in Everett. We have been asking God to allow us to get into the Armory and to help us raise the money needed to purchase this building as we plant roots in Downtown Everett. Please join us this Thursday, September 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. Childcare and hospitality will be provided.

As we have been sent out as missionaries in Everett, we want to see more and more people meet Jesus. Getting into this facility helps us to plant roots for years to come here in Everett. I have heard stories of events that have taken place in the Armory over the years and none of these events was to glorify God, the Creator and sustainer of all life. This event will be to the glory of God and the praise of his name and his work through Christ Jesus.

In other words, this will be the biggest and most profound event ever held in this building.

Pastor Mark, Pastor Dave, and Pastor Sutton will be joining us on Thursday as we celebrate what God is doing throughout the greater church. We will hear an update from other local Mars Hill churches and celebrate what God is doing at all the other churches. We will also hear how we can play a part in sharing the good news of Jesus, wherever his mission takes us in the coming year.

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.

Cheerful givers wanted

Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live. As Christians, we give our time, talent, and money joyfully in response to Jesus’ generosity and to help more people meet Jesus.
