Dear Mars Hill extended family,

It doesn’t matter where you are or what language you speak. We each have something in common: the same amazing Father.

Mars Hill Church is growing—quickly. What began as a small Bible study in Seattle has now grown up. We’ve even moved away from home!

Mars Hill Church now has 14 locations across four U.S. states, 16 new church plants in Ethiopia, 20 in India, and more in South America.

Who is in our extended family?

Some of you know that I used to live overseas and every week gathered my wife and daughters around the computer to watch Pastor Mark speak.

Like many of you, I’d never sat in a pew at Mars Hill Church, but through sound teaching, Pastor Mark and Mars Hill served our family halfway around the world. Do you have a similar story? If so, Mars Hill would love to hear it: stories@marshill.com.

So wherever you sit right now—whether Cape Town, Sydney, London, Singapore, or Austin—I want you to know that you’re loved as part of the Mars Hill extended family. In fact, you outnumber our local family: for every person who comes on Sunday to a service, there are 20 more people hearing a sermon online each week!

What is Mars Hill Global?

Living overseas, I never realized I was part of an extended family that was also benefiting from the ministries of Mars Hill.

Jesus came not to be served but to serve. Equally, Mars Hill Church exists not to be served but to serve, even “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

That’s why we make sure Pastor Mark’s sermons and many of the resources that help mature us in Christ are made available to you—for free.

And by God’s grace, we’re now doing even more: providing Bibles, translations, and theological training for men to plant churches in their own communities and villages.
