“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18–20
Jesus made it pretty clear that his mission extends beyond a single city, country, or people group.
Mars Hill Global is how we as a church participate in the worldwide mission of Jesus. We work with in-country partners to train pastors and plant churches in various countries.
We translate our resources so that people from more cultures can have access to Bible teaching. And we freely distribute sermons, Bibles, and other materials to share with as many people as possible the good news that Jesus is alive.
The mission of Mars Hill Global is the same mission as Mars Hill Church: to make disciples and plant churches—around the world. We want lots of people to meet Jesus. Everyone, in fact.
For every person who attends a Mars Hill Church Sunday service each week, about 20 more sermons are listened to online by people on every continent on the planet (yes, even people in Antarctica need Jesus).
Here are a few stats:
We give away as much as we can for two reasons: we love God and we love people. We want to serve people by getting helpful resources into the hands of pastors, leaders, and as many people as possible in order to glorify God by distributing his message of free grace for free.

India is the second-largest country in the world, but only 2 percent of its people identify as Christians. It is a nation dominated by the Hindu religion, with a substantial Muslim population as well.
In India, Mars Hill Global supports numerous church planters in the Guntur and Khamman districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Born, raised, and trained in India, these men have planted a combined 50 churches in the eastern part of the country.
“When I started sharing the gospel,” says Pastor John, one of the church planters in the Khamman district, “people thought I was a fool because living for Jesus is the last thing anyone would want to do since they are Hindu.” Today, Pastor John has planted 14 churches, most of which are now pastored by other men whom he continues to disciple.

Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world—the average person lives on little more than $1 per day. Less than half of the population can read. An estimated 4.5 million children are missing one or both parents, and 800,000 have been orphaned by AIDS.
In the city of Dilla in the southern part of the country, Kale Heywot Bible School equips men to plant churches around the country. Mars Hill Global supports ten of these future pastors, who are currently in training and will be sent out within the next one to two years to start brand-new churches in cities and villages that have yet to hear about Jesus.

Various Mars Hill Global projects are currently in development to make disciples and plant churches in countries such as Chile, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.
In addition, Mars Hill Church distributes Bibles in Spanish, and we will soon have Pastor Mark’s Doctrine book and our children’s ministry curriculum, “Lost and Found Kids,” translated into Spanish.

We can’t do this alone. If you’ve been blessed by the ministries of Mars Hill Church, and if you have a desire to see more people around the world meet Jesus, we could use your help.
By giving to Mars Hill Global, you join us in making disciples and planting churches around the world. It will take all of us to fulfill Jesus’ command to “go therefore,” so thank you for your support.
