CURRICULUM & CAMPAIGN PUBLISHING MANAGER
Mars Hill Church’s mission is to plant churches and make disciples. Begun in 1996, Mars Hill Church is now widely regarded as one of the most innovative churches in the world, in large part because of the amount of free content we publish. The Communications department helps direct the air war, the most visible ministries of the church that reach the largest audience through websites, publications, blogs, social media, public relations and the media library. We are looking for a Curriculum and Campaign Publishing Manager.

You love Jesus and want to see others love him too. You are adaptable to work under a variety of conditions with many stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Fulfill the duties required of Mars Hill Church members as outlined in the membership covenant.
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures.
- Experience with book publishing, sales, starting a new business or other related experience.
- Experience with new product creation is a plus.
- Adept at using digital tools for communication.
If you were working for us, some of the things you would have done for us last week
- Called a printing company for a quote on 2,000 kid’s curriculum books.
- Called a meeting with the graphic design team, content creation team, and the community groups pastor to start a new three month project.
- Created a budget in Excel to be proposed to the Communications Director for approval.
- Called five new contacts to introduce yourself and find out how you can work together.
- Reviewed progress of 6 current campaigns, documented risks and communicated this to proper managers.
- Worked with marketing manager to create roll out plan for new community groups campaign.
- Called 7 churches involved in our campaign’s to understand how campaign is going.
- Write a review document for the launch of the Real Marriage campaign with an analysis of strengths, weakness, and recommended improvements.
Here are some additional things you might do
- Travel to a conference to show different curriculum pieces to pastors.
- Host conference call and explain to executive pastors how to get involved in campaigns.
- Call meeting with Mars Hill ministry leads to discuss a plan for how a campaign will roll out at local churches.
- Handle basic issues with outside vendors.
- Fill in on basic support when team is short.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Location: Central Offices | Seattle WA (Ballard)
Vacation: Two weeks floating vacation plus one week at Christmas
