Ephesians
Part 18: Keep on Praying
Ephesians 6:18-20
Paul concludes his incredible letter to the Ephesian church as their pastor, requesting that they pray. While such a simple conclusion is easily overlooked as an addendum to the great themes which preceded it, nothing could be further from the truth. Paul concludes by requesting that the people in the church, who are knit together by grace, intercede for each other and their pastor because they, like all churches and pastors, desperately needed God.
Ephesians 6:18-20
18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
